Urban Index operates an online service that provides indicative address-based livability and connectivity scores and related outputs. The site may be reached at our published domain (urbanindex.com.au).

This policy applies to personal information we collect through the website, authentication flows, paid report purchases, support enquiries, and related communications. It does not apply to third-party sites or services linked from Urban Index, which have their own policies.

We may collect the following types of information, depending on how you use the service:

• Account / authentication: email address and authentication identifiers when you sign in (for example one-time codes or session tokens managed by our auth provider).
• Query and analysis data: addresses or location text you submit, derived coordinates, and analysis outputs we generate (which may be associated with your account where applicable).
• Payment-related data: we use third-party payment processors. We do not store full card numbers on Urban Index servers; we may receive limited billing metadata (for example transaction references, product purchased, and customer email as supplied to the processor).
• Technical data: IP address, device/browser type, approximate region, timestamps, and diagnostic logs needed to operate and secure the service.
• Communications: content you send us (for example support emails) and our replies.

We collect personal information directly from you when you:

• create or use an account, or sign in;
• run an analysis or request a report;
• complete a purchase through our payment provider;

Under the APPs, you may request access to personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct inaccurate information. Contact us using the details on the site. We will respond within a reasonable period.

Urban Index is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental authority as required by law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will be revised when we do. Material changes may be highlighted on the site or communicated where appropriate.
